Another brand that has become a backstop for performance Porsche upgrades is JE Pistons. The JE range of Porsche pistons cover the spectrum of air-cooled engines produced from 1963 through 1998 in capacities ranging: 2.0L, 2.2L, 2.4L, 2.7L, 3.0L, 3.0L Turbo, 3.2L, 3.3L Turbo and 3.6L. JE Pistons are designed to work with the stock crankshaft stroke and rod length. Most JE applications also offer an overbore of between 1 to 5 mm along with optional compression ratios.
